What it is:
The Wooliner is a sustainable, breathable hanging basket liner made entirely from 100% coarse crossbred wool. Designed to replace synthetic liners like coir or plastic, the Wooliner retains moisture, regulates temperature, and slowly breaks down over time to nourish your plants and soil.

How to use your Wooliner:

1. Fully saturate the Wooliner in water before placing it in your basket – this helps activate the wool’s natural moisture-retaining ability.
2. Place the soaked Wooliner in your hanging basket, pressing it snugly into the sides and bottom.
3. Trim to fit if needed – wool cuts easily and moulds to your basket’s shape.
4. Add potting mix directly on top.
5. Plant your flowers, herbs or trailing greenery as usual.
6. Water in well – the wool will retain moisture and slowly release it to your plants.

Pro tip: After a couple of seasons, the Wooliner will naturally break down, simply just place a new liner in and replace the old one – plants and all into the new one – the wool will feed the soil and break down over time replacing lost nutrients and aiding in your plant’s growth.
