About Sherri
WoolGrow Australia was founded by a fifth-generation farmer from South-West Victoria with more than 20 years’ experience as a wool classer working across the country. Driven by a passion for sustainability, she set out to transform low-value crossbred wool into practical, eco-friendly products that support both farmers and gardeners.
In 2021, after investing her life savings into a pellet mill, she launched Aussie Wool Pellets a venture that quickly gained recognition, winning the Ideas Place Pitch. As the vision grew, so did the business, expanding its product range and rebranding to WoolGrow Australia.
Today, WoolGrow Australia is proud to be a leader in circular agriculture, recognised as a finalist in the Agrifutures Victorian Rural Women’s Award 2025 and 2026 and winner of the Circular Agriculture Challenge Pitch 2026 supported by LaunchVic and Agriculture Victoria.
